Gachiakuta chapter 170, “A Bolt from the Blue,” begins with Rudo being held in an interrogation cell by Kyouka. She reviews his record and points out that, despite everything that has happened, Arkha made sure there was no reason for the Hell Guard to arrest him before now. Outside the city, Gountess realizes that Too Lily’s priority was getting everyone away safely because using her power against the Hell Guard could have gotten her arrested too. Kyouka then confronts Rudo directly and tests his resolve, showing that she is far stronger and more experienced than he expected. Rudo tries to escape and attack her, but Kyouka easily counters him and explains that his reckless attempt would have endangered both himself and Enjin. She also reveals that Enjin is not dead and is receiving treatment, which gives Rudo some relief.
